My Most Important Achievement
When I was still living in Milano, I designed and patented a new kind of watch. At that time, I took a partner because doing the whole process of patenting and protecting the name (See-Touch-Watch) in the whole world, was very expensive.
We also commissioned a project of feasibility to a top studio in Switzerland, the home of watches, and it was successful.
We also know that, secretly, the group Cartier-Piaget-Baume&Mercier, built a prototype and it worked!!!!
International Recognition
Anyway, we participated in the Top Swiss Competition about inventions at 360 degrees in all fields and, really incredibly, we won the Gold Medal as BEST INVENTION IN THE WORLD for that year!!!!
The American Smithsonian Channel sent a film crew from Australia to film and interview me in Milano.
They broadcast the footage in the USA, in a series called "Invention" and sent me a DVD of that.
A Glimpse into the Past
Here is the footage of me, at 47 years old. Wow, time really flies because, for me, it seems like last week!!!!
The Aftermath
Before coming to America, I sold my 50% of the patent to my partner and it seems that someone bought it and, as often happens, put it in a drawer for the future!!!
